Sunday off doing non-alpaca stuff

It's nice to have a day away from work, OK, so I fed and checked the alpacas this morning, but Les was kind enough to be in charge for the rest of the day.

This morning, my old mate Nigel came to see us and together we went through the track car brakes, putting new rear pads in for the next track day. Boys and toys and oily hands, I know we love it. My left hand is still pretty useless from the injury, so Nigel had to finish off the job for me whilst I watched on. That's a bit frustrating.

This afternoon, we have been looking through the brochures for wood burning stoves. We are having one fitted before Christmas, I think we are going with a Scandinavian jobbie, ideal for fitting in log cabins. My brother who is a locally renowned stonemason/bankermason is coming tomorrow to measure up for a new hearth he is going to hand fashion from Purbeck stone. Nice.....

Tomorrow is a busy day for us here at Wellground, but that is all I am going to tell you for the moment. (A bit of Barnacre style suspense dropped in here) So stay tuned, you'll have to wait and see what that's all about......

Wood burning stoves are great, we have 2. Well placed they heat the whole house, the only trouble is the dogs seem to hogg them. Hope you have a good supply of wood

We've been looking at stoves too. Too much alpaca poo for veg growing so got to find other uses for it. Got loads to do tomorrow but I'll have to keep logging on for you blog. Tease.

The wood burning stove is a good choice however, we had a multifuel version and cannot recommend it enough!
